Editorial standards

Ethics Policy

This page will set out the standards every piece of BitByteCore journalism is held to. Draft placeholder below.

Draft — not yet published

Draft
Placeholder structure only — section headings are real, body copy is not final legal text. To be written and reviewed before launch.

Editorial Independence

Draft: editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners.

Accuracy & Corrections

Draft: commitment to getting it right, and a clear, visible corrections process when we don't.

Sourcing & Attribution

Draft: we show the work — cite sources, link out, and never reproduce others' work as our own.

04 · The principle

AI-Assisted, Human-Verified

Draft: AI may assist with drafting and structure, but every published piece carries genuine human substance — real specifics, a verified point of view — and is reviewed and signed off by a human. Content that reads as generic AI output is not published.

Conflicts of Interest

Draft: how we identify and disclose any conflicts that could affect coverage.

Contact

Draft: how to raise an ethics concern or request a correction.
